Dr. Martens is set to open its first standalone store in Sweden this Thursday, August 15th. Following the success of their Copenhagen store last year, the iconic footwear brand continues to expand its presence in Scandinavia. The new store will be located on Drottninggatan, one of Stockholm’s busiest and most popular streets.

The 118 m² store, designed by Manchester-based Studio OL3, stays true to Dr. Martens’ distinctive aesthetic with its signature yellow and black color palette, oak flooring, and warm, subtle lighting. Customers can expect to find the full range of Dr. Martens’ iconic models, along with new releases and various collaborations.

In celebration of the opening, Dr. Martens has partnered with Swedish artist and illustrator Leo Lyxx (Leo Hallin) to create a unique artwork. The piece features an enlarged 1460 boot planted in the heart of Stockholm, rendered in Leo’s playful and colorful signature style.
