Astra Marina was born in Rome to an Italian father and a Latin American mother. Drawing and images have marked her life since childhood as the simplest means through which to express herself. Photography, inherited from her father who enjoyed capturing moments in his spare time, became her passion. Encouraged by him, she pursued her studies at the Roberto Rossellini high school in Rome, where her passion solidified and could evolve into a true profession. After completing her studies, she began to travel to capture fashion weeks all around the world. Today, she is based between Paris and Rome, continuing her artistic exploration driven by human beauty in all its forms.
