Swedish eyewear brand CHIMI has partnered with Milan-based design studio NM3 for an exclusive collaboration that seamlessly merges fashion, architecture, and sustainability. The result? Three bold creations—a backgammon game, a sculptural stool, and a statement pair of sunglasses—blending CHIMI’s playful acetate aesthetic with NM3’s industrial stainless steel precision.
Part of CHIMI’s Spare Objects initiative, which transforms eyewear production by-products into functional design pieces, the collection pushes the boundaries of material innovation. “We’re always exploring the intersection of fashion, architecture, and design,” says Charlie Lindström, CHIMI’s Co-Founder and Creative Director. “This collaboration redefines materials through unexpected forms, giving new life to our acetate scraps.”
By merging playful craftsmanship with industrial minimalism, CHIMI and NM3 have created a collection that blurs the lines between eyewear, art, and furniture—redefining contemporary design in the process.
