Willow Smith, the multifaceted musician, actress, and creative, has launched her debut fashion collection with Moncler, first unveiled at The City of Genius in Shanghai. The collection presents a futuristic yet functional wardrobe inspired by Willow’s personal style and a vision of new beginnings, blending Moncler’s alpine heritage with her artistic sensibilities.
The campaign explores themes of contrasts, rebirth, and duality, reflecting in both design and presentation. Shot predominantly in black and white, the imagery highlights dramatic, sculptural pieces brought to life through bold poses and graphic lighting. Willow’s imprint is evident throughout – she not only designs and models but also narrates a short film and provides the soundtrack, making the collection an immersive creative endeavor.
“I imagine these clothes effortlessly transitioning from nighttime camping to high-fashion eveningwear,” Willow commented, emphasizing the collection's adaptability for lifestyles spanning the outdoors and urban elegance.
Key pieces include a down jacket dress resembling a sleeping bag with a detachable hem and oversized pockets, multifunctional canvas trousers with zip-off legs, and monochromatic designs in black and moon-dust white. Circular accents, an exclusive inverted ‘W’ and Moncler ‘M’ monogram, and handwritten lyrics from Willow’s single “Alone” add deeply personal touches.
