BARRIE launches theire first scented candle, created by Trudon. Émilie Bouge, perfumer for the Grasse-based house of Robertet, imagined for the Scottish House a scent evoking wild cashmere: “A very textural fragrance, with warm and slightly spicy accents.”
The note is constructed around cashmeran (which gives a very sensual and rich woody scent with hints of musk) along with elements of cedarwood and suggestions of spice (including saffron to evoke the Scottish soil), all underlined with a discreet blend of rose and musk to echo the warm, enveloping feel of cashmere.
